Dr. Philip Benjabutr B.Chiro.Sc., M.Chiro. Chiropractor
Philip has a passion that is hard to avoid. He simply loves to help people wherever possible. Whilst considering going into the health profession throughout his later nigh school years, a lot of inquiry and searching was required to discover which path to take. Chiropractic became the standout area that intertwined with his core philosophy. The concept that the body in most cases should be able to help itself to heal in its own way & that where possible to seek and take part in health care that promotes natural, drug free approaches.
With that in mind, Philip is no stranger to the Chiropractic profession. Being a swimmer since the age of six, he undertook care for a fractured ankle and injured shoulder in his later years; both of which resulted in successful outcomes. Philip has a very strong interest in swimming, tennis, traveling, debating & public speaking, to which he is still actively involved in.
Philip completed his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2008 and his Master of Chiropractic in 2010 both from Macquarie University. During this time Philip was also the Chiropractic Student Advisor for the University, representing his course, university and profession at careers expos and high school student presentations. He is also currently completing his International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD). In 2011 Philip joined the teaching staff at the Department of Chiropractic, Faculty of Science, Macquarie University as a tutor in second year Chiropractic skills, the only person in his year group to be offered a formal staff position, teaching technique the semester after graduating.
As Philip believes in a holistic approach, his treatment methods are more than just the ‘rack, crack & get out concept’. Soft tissue work, stretching and many more techniques in conjunction with the adjustment, helps to provide the body with a better position to naturally help itself again. Philip looks at the whole body when treating, so where you say you have pain might not be the only place you receive care for.
In addition to his position coaching NSW state level swimmers and Chiropractic Skills tutor, Philip is delighted to be a part of the team at Hornsby Health Centre. If you haven’t made the time to spend a consultation with him, now is time to see what he can offer. He looks forward to meeting you soon.
